Hi all,
I thought I might throw my keyboarding two penneth in to get this forum rolling.
Its true I used to play a bit in my youth. I had a Studiologic controller keyboard with weighted keys firing a Proteus 1000 sound module with a Roland VK8 on top of it. Weighty things to carry about though keyboards which is an appaling excuse for calling time on my fledgling keyboarding career. My heart was always with my guitar though. I've often toyed with the idea of a keytar, specifiaclly the Casio AZ-1. I'd still like to get my hands on one in fact!
Check it out -
Its a modern day design classic I tell ya! (i'm willing to bet good money no one else on the Now Play It team shares my love of the keytar... but I maybe wrong...)
Anyway. let me know about your keyboards, wants haves or anything elses. Questions on anything at all are welcome.
All the best,
Sam |

| PS - the best way to check for more keyboard tutorials is to hit the 'search' tab on the home page and enter 'Piano' in the search box. |

That's kind of counter intuitive when all the ones you show have the word Keyboard in the link.
I will check them out though. |

| Not sure it's good for beginners but I've always wanted a Rhodes stage piano to mess around with- I imagine they're pretty expensive beasties though! |

They look pretty cool. when we shot palladium the other day the piano player had a really nice one.
Probably best to learn a few chords before i get into some rhodes action. |

| My sister's got a really nice weighted piano keyboard- even though I own a midi keyboard, I rarely play it but I can't stop playing the weighted one when I get a chance- it just goes to show that for me at least, a good quality instrument encourages you to play it regardless of how good you are! |
